Origami Jumping Frogs Galore!

Getting Ready for Surtex 2013

For those of you who are not familiar with Surtex - it is THE art licensing show for artists to connect with buyers www.surtex.com.

My agent Parcai Designs has booth #765. I am making small jumping origami frogs to hand out to people as I walk the floor. Notice I have written the booth number on each frog :-) I haven't counted, but I have in the ball park of 250 frogs so far - wonder how many I will get done before the show?!

iPad Background How To

 

Have fun making your own iPad backgrounds

Really the trick is to keep in mind what will get cut off when the screen rotates AND to know the size and resolution it will be. I have listed the sizes and a link to templates below.

After I set up my image, I just emailed it to myself. Accessed my email from my iPad and save the attachment to my camera roll on my iPad. Then under settings / Brightnes & Wallpaper, I selected the image in my camera roll.

It is nice to have your image(s) as the background if you are selling you art/photos and use your iPad as a portfolio.

Hailing Ping Pong Balls!

 

Spring Weather's Twists

Just a quick post - it HAILED ping pong balls last night before bedtime. LOTS of ping pong balls. The sound was so loud - especially on the sky light. Looked like it snowed on the street. I should have taken a picture. We had 68° weather then apparently some cold air came through, because now it is 37° with 2 inches of snow expected tonight. VERY thankful for the inch of rain - we need the relief from the drought.
