Free patterns! and Would a Poll be Fun?

Hi Everyone,

It has been awhile since I posted the link to the handful of patterns I have. They are FREE for personal and commercial use. Cool Beans!

https://sites.google.com/site/anniesdoodlebugz/home/downloads

There is a chevron, a "skip" chevron,  squares, scatter dots as well as the patterns above that I just uploaded to the 'download' page. (Blogger isn't set up for downloads).

SHOUT OUT to my son (graphic designer for Big Frog Custom T-shirts and More). He is the creator of the sweater pattern. :-D

Feel free to convert these to your program of choice, scale them etc.

Poll Questions:

I am thinking it might be fun to have a poll on the blog. Are there any questions you would like to see in the poll? Example:
Do you have more than one job?
Do you have multiple streams of income for your art?
Do you hire help with bookkeeping/taxes?
Do you paint out of the tube?
What time of day are you the most creative?
Do you consider chocolate as a food group? - I do <3

Are you interested in my post, but don't want to follow yet another blog?!

FREE Chevron Seamless Patterns

Photoshop CC 300 dpi files - download link below.

Happy Friday! For about 30 seconds the other day I though I was all that AND a bag of chips! I was working in Photoshop and noticed one of the arrow shapes would make a great chevron pattern! You can see the single shape easily in the pattern on the right above.

THEN... I thought - I wonder if anyone else has thought of this. One Google search later and TA DA! Yep. lots of folks have.  :-) Yeah, well, it felt good for a few seconds. I have been using triangles and diamonds to create a chevron pattern - not an arrow shape...

SO just in case I am not the only one this is new to - you can download the Photoshop files here. (click) FREE for commercial and personal use. No strings attached. Have fun :-D

Do you want to know how I made it? This blog already has it spelled out: BrittanyMakes.

Let me know if you like these freebies! Make my week and follow my blog - thanks!

FREE Photoshop seamless patterns!

Free for commercial and personal use - Have fun!

Hey everybody, I got this idea to share a few seamless patterns of mine from the cool people on the Art Licensing Network Facebook group :-) Who doesn't love FREE and no strings attached! Woop!

Okay. Here is the link to the patterns above. The files are 5"x5 ",  300 dpi, Photoshop CS6.
CLICK HERE to go to the download page.

How to use:
In Photoshop open up one of the patterns you just downloaded.

Go to the menu bar, click EDIT: scoll to DEFINE PATTERN, click OK.

Now, open a new file in Photoshop. To keep it easy, make it 10" x10" at 300 dpi.

Let's fill it with the pattern you just defined!

Go to the menu bar, click EDIT: scroll to FILL...
In the dialogue box that opens (see image below) choose PATTERN in the drop down menu
in the Custom Pattern option - choose the new pattern you just defined, click OK!

TaDa! It filled your space with the pattern - Cool Beans!

Play with the size to fill and the resolution to see how that affects your results. You can also play with the other options in the dialogue box above and see what they do :-)

You can create your own custom patterns in any square size you like.

Would you rather see a video on how to do this? Here is the link - you can google more.

This link is also listed on my Useful Stuff blog page if you want to find it again.

So Doodlebugerz, What cha think? Like the freebies? Could you understand how to do it?
Make my day and follow my blog - Thanks!
